This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and helpful staff. They really cared for my elderly parents during our first stay, and I remember how welcoming they were. I can't wait to return for Christmas!...

The Small Double Room was clean and decorated nicely. I really liked the little personal touches throughout the room. The bed was comfy, and I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. It did feel a bit snug for two, but overall it was a cozy place to unwind.

I enjoyed a delightful stay at The Devonshire Arms. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival right away. My room was cozy and well-furnished with tea and coffee facilities. An electric kettle, which I appreciated. The food was outstanding, particularly the breakfast, which had a good variety. The bar area offered a lovely ambiance to unwind. On the downside, the shower in my room had very poor water pressure, basically a trickle, which was quite frustrating. the bed was uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. I could hear noise from other rooms, especially when the water was running. the service was excellent and the location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Chatsworth House.

We had a lovely time enjoying the spacious room and the delicious food at dinner and breakfast. Relaxing on the sun terrace with a nice drink while soaking up the atmosphere was a real highlight. Just a heads up, the shower could use some better maintenance – not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning! 😊

Lovely room, lovely amenities, with a fantastic powered shower and luxurious tea and coffee selections that made my stay very comfortable. The free parking made it easy to explore the area.

Had a lovely evening stroll right outside, the staff were friendly and efficient and even helped me with my electric bike charging. I was impressed by the food quality, especially the cooked breakfast, it was hot and...  

Just an excellent fit for a getaway in Baslow with reasonable value. The steak and ale pie was top quality. Make sure to enjoy the well-decorated bar area.

While the bar had an inviting feel, the selection of beverages was impressive and well-curated. the size of the room felt a bit cramped for two, and while dinner was delightful, the service speed at breakfast could use some improvement.

Dining experiences varied. while breakfast offered a broad range of options, dinner did highlight the chefs’ talent with exceptional dishes that pleasantly surprised us.
